If you have lived in Reno for more than one season, you know how hard it can be to maintain a garden or other plants with the unpredictable weather changes. Here in Reno we are never surprised to get snow in March! The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and it’s Certified Master Gardener program will be offering free classes in “Gardening in Nevada: The Bartley Ranch Series.”

The series begins on February 3rd and goes through March 31st. The classes occur every Tuesday from 6p.m.-8p.m. at 6000 Bartley Ranch Road. The topics are different for each class and range from selecting and caring for fruit trees to tree pruning basics.
