“A long-term strategic plan for the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority got the green light Thursday.” Bill O’Driscoll discusses the RSCVA’s plan to analyze strengths and weaknesses of tourism in our region “against the backdrop of a challenged tourism industry,” as well as “lay out a five-year plan for growth.”

In January, John Kaatz, project manager from Minneapolis-based Convention Sports & Leisure will report back to the RSCVA board with the details on the “size and scope of the project expected to cost $150,000 to $160,000 and take six months to complete.” CSL was chosen by the  RSCVA’s strategic plan committee, including President of Wells Gaming Research in Reno, Richard wells who was contracted as a as a “third-party strategic planning project manager.”
