Join us on March 2 to hear Nobel Prize-winning physicist, David Wineland, discuss how his groundbreaking work in quantum physics relates to our daily lives. Dr. Wineland won a share of the Nobel Prize in 2012 for trapping ions with cleverly designed experiments and has more than 42-years of experience studying atomic clocks at the National Institute of Standards. On March 2, he’ll explain how his research can be applied to our daily lives and how quantum physics has changed the way we think about the world. North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is a great way to explore the beautiful region of North Lake Tahoe. From snowshoeing and skiing on the slopes, to watching ice sculptors transform blocks of ice into breathtaking artworks – there’s something for everyone at SNOWFEST. During the 10-day festival, you can also find plenty of food and drinks to keep you fueled for your adventures.
