Discover Science: David Wineland, Nobel laureate physicist

Join us on March 2 to hear Nobel Prize-winning physicist, David Wineland, discuss how his groundbreaking work in quantum physics relates to our daily lives. Dr. Wineland won a share of the Nobel Prize in 2012 for trapping ions with cleverly designed experiments and has more than 42-years of experience studying atomic clocks at the National Institute of Standards. On March 2, he’ll explain how his research can be applied to our daily lives and how quantum physics has changed the way we think about the world. North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is a great way to explore the beautiful region of North Lake Tahoe.
