Many of our real estate experts have been with us for more than 20 years, including Rob Wonhof and Delores Zunino. They received our Legacy Award this year, recognizing their many achievements. These two have built long-lasting and successful relationships throughout their careers and have contributed a significant amount of time to helping our community grow.

After 35 years in the industry, Rob has consistently been recognized as one of the best real estate professionals in the area. His dedication to custom housing developments helped set the benchmark for specialized home sales at Montrêux, Arrowcreek, and Saddlehorn. Rob has recently reduced his full-time commitment and is now working at the Dickson Damonte Ranch office.

Delores also offers expertise to her clients about the Northern Nevada lifestyle. Born and raised in Reno, she has seen the city grow from a small transient town to a bustling city full of opportunities for current and future residents. Delores has built an extensive referral network with a background in commercial and residential investment, vacant land, custom home construction, and property management.

Without individuals such as Rob and Delores, we wouldn’t be able to achieve our goal of becoming the region’s best. Much of our success comes from their dedication to serve our community, and we’re proud to celebrate their accomplishments as respected individuals and friends. So, thank you for being a significant part of our story, and congratulations on your incredible legacy of success.

Real Estate Experts Rob Wonhof and Delores Zunino Share Inspiring Legacy Experience

What drives you to achieve excellence?

Delores says: From an early age, I always received support and positive reinforcement when I put my best foot forward, and it encouraged me to do better throughout my life, personally and professionally. Building this type of confidence early in life can allow you to achieve a degree of excellence and your goals.

Rob says: Many of my clients have now become friends and are a part of my community. It’s rewarding to hear them refer my services to others because it ensures that I’m doing a great job. I never want to disappoint them.

What are some of your proudest professional moments as real estate experts?

Delores says: After 36 years in real estate, my proudest professional moments tend to blend in together. However, I have most enjoyed meeting people and helping them reach their goals of buying or selling a home. My career in real estate has given me some extraordinary moments, and I’ve formed many long-lasting and meaningful relationships.

Rob says: I started my real estate career back in 1985 after 10 years in accounting. My proudest real estate moments began when I became the listing agent for the area’s most prominent developer at Saddlehorn in 1989. Then, when I became the first Dickson listing agent for Montreux in 1996. I have provided my real estate services to the Montreux community for 25 years, and I’m also a resident and Club member there.

What do you want people to know about your career?

Delores says: The answer is simple. I want people to know about the enormous amount of gratitude I feel for the experiences I’ve had over the last 36 years.

Rob says: I want people to know that I love this business, and I’ve been successful over the last three decades because I have met many kind and helpful people along the way.

What do you love about working with Dickson Realty?

Delores says: Dickson has a great combination of agents, brokers, and staff members that are always there to give you support, encouragement, and friendship. We’re like family, which is a special gift.

Rob says: Dickson’s management is not only professional but incredibly personal. Their example of leadership has had a very positive influence on my life and career. They genuinely care and provide excellent advice. That’s why I consider them my best friends.

What’s a local insider tip you’d like to share with our readers?

Delores says: My local favorites include Coney Island Bar, Johnny’s Ristorante Italiano, and Louis’ Basque Corner. From delicious cocktails to daily specials to three-course meals, there’s no going wrong when it comes to these places.

Rob says: Whispering Vine is Reno’s best wine source and my favorite place to meet friends. Bricks Restaurant also never disappoints. If you’re planning on making a day trip to Lake Tahoe, I recommend having lunch at the Lone Eagle Grille or taking the Sierra Cloud catamaran tour of the north shore.
