The New Nevada, Now Open for Business

Yesterday, The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada announced the launch of a new video showcasing The New Nevada and why more and more businesses are moving to Northern Nevada. You can also watch the video on Dickson Realty's Facebook page. Featured are Switch (data center), Clear Capital(software analytics) and Flirtey (drone development), all companies that recently moved to the Greater Reno-Sparks area to grow or start their businesses. Executives share some of the key reasons they made the move and why Reno is a Little City with a Big Attitude.
The three minute video weaves a compelling story with vignettes of downtown Reno, the University of Nevada Reno, Desert Research Institute, Innevation Center, Museum of Art, skiing, fishing, Lake Tahoe, views of the skyline, and much more.
"The Greater Reno-Sparks region has become a magnet for entrepreneurs and is rapidly developing a vibrant start-up ecosystem. Companies of all sizes and industries like advanced manufacturing, technology, data centers and aviation continue to look at the region as an ideal location to grow." said Mike Kazmierski, President and CEO of EDAWN. "Domestic and international companies alike are becoming aware of the many reasons to locate their businesses in the region:  quality of life, lower operating costs, ready labor force, business incentives, opportunities for research collaboration, strategic location and proximity to the Bay Area."
This video was made possible with the help of several community partners who opened their doors to share their passion for Northern Nevada for the world to see and hear.  EDAWN thanks, Ardagh Metal Packaging, Clear Capital, Desert Research Institute, Discovery Museum, Flirtey, Innevation Center, Nevada Museum of Art, Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Renown Health, Switch, and the University of Nevada Reno. A special thanks to FLF Films for their insight, direction, and creativity to produce this video.
