Lights on the Lake Fireworks

Join between 75,000 and 100,000 people visiting Lake Tahoe this holiday season to watch the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi. Plan to start and end your holiday at a local beach, Lakeview Commons/El Dorado Beach and Nevada Beach are two beaches with great viewpoints. You’ll make some incredible memories splashing in the cool waters of Tahoe, enjoying a delectable picnic, watching the sun set behind Desolation Wilderness, then it’s show time – the spectacular firework show, shot from three barges anchored near Stateline. Local Heroes 4th of July Celebration & SkyShow

Walk, bike or drive to Incline Village’s annual Fourth of July celebration starting on Sunday with the flag raising, parade, community fair, and Highlander Pride Backyard BBQ. On Monday honor our local veterans and active-duty personnel at the Veteran’s Recognition Lunch and on Tuesday it all culminates with the July 4th SkyShow from 7:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. You’ll be entertained with fun activities including DJ music and U.S. Trivia with MC Uncle E., there will also be food trucks and a beer garden. The Laser Show starts at 9:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Drone Show. Be sure to bring your blankets and beach chairs to enjoy the event!
10th Annual Keep Tahoe Red, White and Blue Beach Cleanup
- When: Wednesday, July 5, 2023
- Where: Lake Tahoe Locations
After the fireworks enthusiasts leave the beach there is trash left behind endangering wildlife and the Lake’s clarity. Join Keep Tahoe Blue by volunteering for the largest cleanup of the year! You may register online, although walk-ins are welcome, and be sure to be prepared for the day with sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, shoes, and snacks. Keep Tahoe Blue will have refreshments and cool giveaways. Meet at one of the following beaches: Kiva Beach, Kings Beach, Nevada Beach, Lakeview Commons/Regan Beach, Tahoe City, or Zephyr Cove/Shoals.
Brubeck Jazz Summit Concert Series

Barracuda Championship PGA Tour

Fore! Can’t get enough golf?…then mark your calendar for this PGA TOUR event. This championship tour is a favorite among golf professionals and the only PGA TOUR played near Reno. If you have a favorite golfer plan on attending on their day of play and take in the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course with 600 acres of forest and meadowland in the Sierra Nevada mountains. This event also gives you an opportunity to raise money for your favorite nonprofit – Birdies for Charity, guess the number of birdies that the PGA TOUR pros make at the tournament correctly to win the grand prize!
6th Annual Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival

The Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival returns for the sixth year to The Village of Palisades Tahoe. This year you’ll rock steady with performers like Rebelution, Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Pepper, J Boog, and more! This is an all-ages event and the perfect event to introduce your children or favorite person to Reggae, a wholly original Jamaican music and sound including drums, electric bass, electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, horns, and vocals. Gates open at 12:00 p.m. and shows start at 1:00 p.m.
