Seven Troughs Distilling

For a taste of how spirits were made in the mid-19th century, check out Seven Troughs Distilling in Sparks. South Creek Center

There are always new things to do in Northern Nevada at South Creek Center, located in South Reno. All the shops are locally owned and loved, and include boutiques, cafes, eateries, and high-end bars. Before or after your meal, you can also get a mani-pedi or shop for a unique treasure at one of the many stores.

This 3,000-square-foot shop is the culmination of magician Justin Impossible’s dream of bringing the joy of magic to everyone. With monthly magic shows, private events, birthday parties, and more, Impossibles Magic Shop & Theater is a place for all ages.

Hard Water House

Sip on one of the 140 whiskeys available at Hard Water House in South Reno. Hungry? This saloon-style bar and restaurant serves a diverse menu, from salads and sandwiches to tacos and steak. If Sunday football is your game, come root for your favorite team with NFL Sunday Ticket and watch on one of the seven TVs. Head off the beaten path and eat at Chop 40, a comfortable, casual, and unique Verdi dining experience. Established in 2017 by a Verdi local, this restaurant offers house-smoked or wood-fired grilled meats, house-made dressings, and eclectic food and drink combinations.

Verdi Local Distillery

Perhaps the smallest distillery in the world at 846-square-feet, Verdi Local Distillery packs a lot of flavor into a small space. Visit the distillery and taste unique craft creations such as Apple Cinnamon Whiskey, Garlic Whiskey, and exclusive seasonal and limited releases.
