Let’s take a look at the latest market news for the Reno-Sparks area.
Dickson Realty has released our Year-End Market Trends Report for the Reno/Sparks region. Available on-line, or from your Dickson Realty agent, the report dives into the information that matters most to you. Here’s a sample of what you will find in our report:
The Median Sold Price in the Reno Sparks area was $290,000 at the end of December. While that did not increase from November 2015, it does represent a 10.7% increase compared to December 2014.
The number of New Home listings went down more than 11% between November and December, contributing to our region’s inventory shortage, especially in the price ranges that make up the majority of home sales. Better news is the number of New listings went up by 22.6% when comparing December 2015 to December 2014.
Our region’s Inventory went down nearly 30% when comparing month over month data, and down 8% when comparing year over year. The coming spring months should bring some relief to our constrained inventory as more people tend to list their homes for sale and new home developments begin to ramp up for the summer selling season.
There’s even more information for you in the Year-End Report, including statistics for both single-family homes and condos across all of the submarkets for the Reno/Sparks area.
