The Reno-Tahoe International Airport announced on Tuesday that it will now support nonstop service from Reno to Orange County through Alaska Airlines.
Service to Orange County will begin March 16, 2016. Horizon Air, the sister service of Alaska Airlines, will host the service. Flights for this specific route are scheduled to depart Reno each day at 10:15 a.m., and will depart Orange County each day at 11:37 a.m.
“Alaska Airlines is showing its growing commitment to the Reno-Tahoe region,” said President/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport Marily Mora. “Now it is up to the community to support the flight and fill the seats, to ensure the success of the Orange County flight.”
In order to celebrate the announcement, Alaska Airlines is offering one-way fares of $79 for the upcoming route between Reno and Orange County. Travelers must purchase tickets by Nov. 9, and must travel by June 8, 2016.
