Yes there really is a leprechaun in this race! Sunday March 15, 2015 in Reno, NV is the 3rd annual leprechaun race, a 5k run/walk through the Wells Avenue and Midtown Districts. Proceeds go to the Terry Lee Wells Discovery Museum. The museum is also where the race will begin and end. Click here for the course map.
Every walker/runner that passes the leprechaun will grow the leprechaun’s pot of gold! The bigger the pot, the more money the Terry Lee Wells Discovery Museum will get. This is a family friendly event and will begin at 8:30a.m. on Sunday March 15. Registration can be done online or via mail.
Following the event, there will be a beer garden hosted by Ceol Irish Pub, located a block from the finish line at 538 S. Virginia Street.
Race178 is putting on the event, and is a race production company in Reno, NV. Race178 has been around since 2005 when they produced their first Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay Run Adventure.
