The Carson City Wine Walk

Kite Flying Weekend at Dangberg Ranch

Go fly a kite…and we mean that in the nicest way! Kite weekend is returning to the Dangberg Ranch in Minden from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 13. This is a free event to bring your whole family to – come high wind or no wind there will be kites flying with CoolKiter’s Cameron and Reina Kauffman. And bring your own kites as well as a picnic lunch to enjoy the day.
Hot Air for Hope Carson Valley Balloon Festival 2023

Get a different perspective with a hot air balloon ride at Hot Air for Hope. This festival benefits the Douglas Center for Hope & Healing who’s mission it is to offer peer support groups to children, teens, adults, and families who are grieving losses of friends and family. Friday night enjoy Balloon Night Glow and a Static Balloon display and on Saturday get your dance on during the music festival then take a stroll through the vendor fair.
2nd Annual Jazz and Art Festival at Heritage Park

If you know what “it” is mark your calendar to enjoy the smooth, edgy, soulful sounds of jazz at the Jazz & Art Festival on Sunday, May 21st, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Live music will be played by DHS Jazz Band, The Jazzettes, The Gardnervillains, and more. And there will be food trucks for lunch or dinner and art vendors to peruse.
