This eight-week course consists of a multiple-component exercise program specialized for arthritis care-management. Activities will include stretching and performing low-aerobic exercises followed by health education classes. Dystopia To Utopia: How Radical Victorians Transformed The Industrial World

2021 Leprechaun Race Gone Virtual 5k Run/Walk

Walk or run at your own pace during the 2021 Leprechaun Race. All you need is your favorite pair of running shoes. Track your best 5k time and submit it to the race website. Then, from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, drive through the Discovery Museum parking lot to pick up your race goodies. The race will begin on Friday, March 12 at 12:01 a.m. and will end on Sunday, March 14 at 10 a.m. All proceeds go to the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum. These five-day Spring Break Creativity Camp will help Northern Nevada youths, ages six to 10, get involved in visual arts. The class is limited to eight participants to ensure the best learning experience and maintain social distancing. Two sessions are available per day, either in the morning from 9 a.m. to noon or in the afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please include any dietary restrictions, as there will be a mid-session snack break. The total cost is $150 and includes all art supplies. Accessible street parking is available on Arlington Avenue.
