As a long-time resident of Wingfield Springs, I can sing the praises of this neighborhood all day, every-day. From the beautiful outdoor surroundings to the excellent educational opportunities to the friendly community, there’s so much to love about Wingfield Springs. However, don’t just take my word for it. I gathered some of my fellow Dickson Realty agents in the Sparks office for a round-up about what we love about this master planned community.
Wingfield Springs: Great Schools
Chris Barnes: I personally can attest to the quality of the schools. Wingfield Springs is served by the Washoe County School District, and include Van Gorder and Spanish Springs Elementary schools, Shaw Middle, and Spanish Springs High School. My son went to Van Gorder Elementary and quite frankly, it was amazing. The parent to teacher interaction is also highly interactive, and I think that is a big benefit.
Wingfield Springs: Welcoming Community
Amy Phillips: I’ve been out here since 2000 and have a group of friends and neighbors. The community aspect is phenomenal. Living in Wingfield Springs is for all age groups and family types; from young professionals to growing families to empty nesters.
Wingfield Springs: Recreation and Outdoors
Beth Cooney: People who live in Wingfield Springs really love the recreation and outdoors opportunities. There are walking trails, hiking, golfing, and more. The nearby Lazy 5 Regional Park offers athletic and multi-purpose fields, barbecue and picnic areas, recreation programs, a summer concert series, and even a kids water play park.
Wingfield Springs: Red Hawk Golf and Resort
Kayla Dalton: Red Hawk Golf and Resort is really the hub of the community. In addition to the two beautiful golf courses, a swim and fitness center, a special events venue, it’s also home to David’s Grill. There’s no better place to be on a Wednesday night than David’s!
Wingfield Springs: Beautifully Maintained
Chris: I think the home owner‘s association, along with the maintenance crews absolutely take wonderful care of our community. We have some really lush landscaping out there, and it’s been well maintained.
Wingfield Springs: Nearby Shopping And Dining
You don’t need to travel far to get to great retail and restaurants. The Spanish Springs Galleria shopping center offers convenient access to Costco, Home Depot and Best Buy, while a little farther down the road is the Outlets at Sparks with Scheels and an IMAX theatre.
There are many reasons to love Wingfield Springs, from the peaceful and well-maintained community to the nearby outdoors and shopping.
