Living in the suburban Sparks area for 23 years we have seen many changes. The Spanish Spring Valley has exploded with home developments and shopping centers over the years. Many store came but could not make it through the economic downturn. So it’s nice to see new stores coming out to the valley again. As we see many new homes being built it is key to have the shopping to support the Sparks/Spanish Springs population.
June 27th is the big day for the Sprouts store opening, bright and early at 7 a.m. Click here for a link to the Spout’s website and more information on the grand opening. They will be giving away 20% off coupons to the first 200 shoppers. The store will be located at 125 Disc Drive, between Pyramid Highway and Sparks Blvd.
Marshalls and Home Goods will be opening right next to Sprouts, but I was unable to find any information on their website or in the news about an exact opening date. Logic would have them opening the same time as Sprouts to piggyback off all the marketing they are doing? We’ll see.
Big Lots has signs up and help wanted postings for it’s new store in Sparks. It will be located next to the Grocery Outlet (1300 Disc Drive) which is on Disc between Sparks Blvd. and Vista Blvd.
Great to see new shopping and jobs coming to the Sparks/Spanish Springs Valley. See you at Sprouts on the 27th.
