Andelin Family Farm Opening day for the fun begins Saturday 9/23. Here are a few highlights. Pumpkin Patch – Tuesday thru Thursday 10am to 3pm, Friday & Saturdays 10am to 6pm. $7/ person under 2 years old is free. Corn Maze – Thursdays 6pm to 10pm, Friday & Saturday 10am to 10pm. $7 / person under 3 years old is free. Zombie Paintball – Thursday, Friday and Saturdays 7pm to 10pm. $15 / person. Begins Thursday October 5. Corn Creepers Haunted Attraction – Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 8pm to 10pm. $10 / person. Begins Thursday October 12.
Sparks Last Friday – The last Last Friday ends with a fall “spooky” fest with games for the kids, great music and a scaaaaary movie 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The featured movie is the original Frankenstein with Boris Karloff. Movie starts at dusk, approximately 6:30 p.m. Victorian Square.

Sparks Fire Department Annual Pancake & 1st Alarm 5k – The Sparks Fire Department and the Sparks Firefighters Association hosts the 28th Annual Pancake Breakfast and 4th Annual 5K Walk/Run downtown. Pancakes will be served starting at 8:00 AM at Sparks Station One. Run 3.1 mile and then enjoy a full breakfast with pancakes with our firefighters and City Council. The event includes tours of the station, safety demonstrations, activities for kids and information on how Sparks Fire Department supports your community.
Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament – Support a great cause by taking part in the City of Sparks Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at Red Hawk Golf and Resort. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Sparks Youth Scholarship Fund which has helped hundreds of children and teens from low-income households participate in recreation programs at little or no cost to them.
