Here’s some market news regarding January’s housing inventory and sales from Dickson Realty.
The number of homes available for purchase in the Reno/Sparks region at the end of January was 797. This is a 5% decrease from the available homes at the beginning of the month. We expect inventory levels to rise as we get closer to spring.
Both the number of properties sold and median price in January decreased from December. Median price decreased by 3%, to $253,500, from December to January.
The average days on market have been relatively stable since August, increasing only slightly over the past two months.
