This year marks the 35th Anniversary of the Jack T. Reviglio Cioppino Feed and Auction. This is the signature fundraiser for The Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and according to their website, brings in almost 15% of their annual operating budget while helping thousands of local kids.
The event includes dinner as well as a silent and a live auction. The auction includes over 500 items that the club boasts are “unique and you can’t find anywhere else.” The Cioppino dinner is prepared from scratch by Bob Capurro, Bud Sorensen, and a team of Italian cooks.
Attendance at this event is one of the largest for fundraisers in our community with typically over 1,600 people. The benefits proceed children in the Reno, Sparks, and Fernley areas.
The event will be held on Saturday February 28th at the Donald W. Reynolds Facility. The doors open at 4:30 p.m. for silent and mobile bidding, followed by dinner and live auction at 6:30 p.m. Pre-event auction registration and auction item donation submissions are currently available online.
Tickets are $200 per person, or $1,600 for a table of eight. For more information or to reserve your tickets contact Allyson Bolton, Special Events Director at abolton@bgctm.org or call 775-360-2448.
