Earth day is coming up in a couple of weeks and Reno will be celebrating Reno Earth Day at Idlewild Park. Included in the day’s celebration will be a a variety of performances, vendors, educational booths, and special activities that are FREE for the public. A special bonus will be from local culinary students coming together to participate in an Edible Art Challenge sponsored by Edible Reno to make creative centerpieces and vie for a top prize of $250, as well as cooking classes and equipment from Nothing To It Culinary Center. Celebrations will also take place in Truckee – Tahoe Truckee Earth Day on April 19th and in South Lake Tahoe – South Tahoe Earth Day on April 26th
