November saw a slight decease of 4% in active home listings from 880 in October down to 84 in November. Home sales were also down from 511 in October to 465 in November, but from the beginning of this year we’ve seen a 22% increase in monthly sales. The average sales price was down just 1% to $270,716 but the median price was up 4% to $224,900.
Though prices have been fairly steady the last few months, it’s still a great time to sell your home. Buyers this time of year are usually pretty serious buyers and with less homes on the market this time of year means less competition, which usually means more money for the seller.
